Gosh, I have tons and tons of funnies, because let’s face it, the drarry fandom is HILARIOUS. I have previously made this and this list of my favorite funny drarry fics, but I’d like to dedicate this post to a fic I read recently:
A Portrait of the Artist by firethesound (5k)
When Harry Potter, reclusive artist, finally agrees to an interview, Draco can hardly believe that he’ll be the one to do it.
I listened to the podfic of this fic read by RsCreighton, and let me tell you, I can’t recall the last time something made me laugh that hard. firethesound is one of my favorite authors and the funnies are only emphasized with RsCreighton’s excellent deadpan voice used for certain lines. I would recommend you to try the podfic if you have time (it’s less than half an hour long!), because I had such a great experience listening to it.
This fic is my new go-to for when I need cheering up. I was listening to it while cleaning and it cracked me up so bad, I was cackling like a maniac until my stomach hurt and there were TEARS in my eyes. Draco receives an invite to do an exclusive interview with Harry, who’s been out of the spotlight for the last few years. What he finds in Harry’s lil’ hideaway is… not what he expected, let’s put it that way. I can’t tell you more without spoiling so I’m just going to emphasize that this is a hilarious, bordering on cracktastic.
10/10 would read again.
